How to make a ‘Post’ on 8brothers

This 3 page document shows you how to make a post on the 8brothers blog.

Updated and accurate 19/11/10. That only took me ten months!

Go to http://www.typepad.com/t/app. (You can also get there by clicking the ** MAKE A POST ** button on the 8 brothers web site. You should see something like the screen below.
Type in the Username (8brothers) and the eight letter Password. (Password hint: first letter of first name of brothers / uncles in age order. Lower case.) If you don't know these then ask someone or email George or David .
Click on the Sign in button

Next you will see this screen. Just click on the 'Compose' button.

Next you see a screen like the one below (apart from those big red arrows!)
It is four more simple steps to complete the post.

1. Write the Title of the post
2. Select a Category. E.g. Use Tom’s post if you are Tom.
3. Write the main part of the Post in the Post Body area.
4. Click the 'Publish' button at the bottom. Well done, that’s it!
5. If you want to add a picture to your post, click the icon with the picture of the house on it.



When you’ve finished you should click the Sign Out thing at the top right of the screen.

If you want to edit your post later, you should log on again and click the Posts thing which is under the Compose thing button on the screen up above.
